Reliable Interstate Moves to Philadelphia, Pittsburgh & Beyond
A move to Pennsylvania can end on a narrow Philadelphia block, outside a Pittsburgh home built into a hill, or in a suburb where the next house is half an acre away. Those are very different moving days. RELOQ sorts out the route, access, and timing before leaving Massachusetts. Your belongings travel on a dedicated truck with our crew, without a broker taking over halfway through.
RELOQ is based near Boston, and we use our own trucks rather than outsourcing moves to another carrier. Our crews travel to Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, the Lehigh Valley, and smaller Pennsylvania communities. Managed buildings sometimes ask for a Certificate of Insurance before they’ll let movers through the door. When that happens, we can send the COI ahead of time.

FAST
We account for traffic, loading time, building hours, and the multi-state drive instead of leaving the schedule to chance.
AFFORDABLE
The quote covers the work you approved and the normal road expenses, so the final bill doesn’t arrive with a list of surprises.
CAREFUL
We wrap furniture before it leaves the home and secure everything properly for the five- or six-hour drive.
RELIABLE
Your shipment stays on one dedicated truck. It isn’t mixed with several households or unloaded at a warehouse along the way.
INSURED
RELOQ is a licensed and insured interstate mover with federal authority to carry household goods outside Massachusetts.
FLEXIBLE
A Philadelphia walk-up and a suburban four-bedroom house need different plans. We’re set up to handle both.
Maybe you’ve packed every box already and only need the heavy lifting. Maybe you haven’t touched a single cabinet. Either is fine. Our full service option can cover packing, wrapping, loading, transport, unloading, and furniture assembly. We also take care of Pennsylvania-to-Boston moves when the relocation is headed in the other direction.

Packing & Wrapping
You decide how much help you need. We can pack the entire home, tackle one difficult room, or focus on breakable items. The crew can bring boxes, paper, tape, and protective materials for dishes, artwork, mirrors, electronics, books, and clothing.

Loading & Transport
Once everything is ready, the crew loads the truck and secures the shipment for the interstate drive. GPS tracking is available during transport. The agreed price includes fuel, mileage, tolls, and the other standard costs of getting from Boston to Pennsylvania.

Delivery & Setup
At the new address, we’ll put boxes and furniture in the rooms where they belong. Beds, tables, and similar pieces that were taken apart for the trip can be reassembled as part of the booked service.
Pennsylvania housing changes quickly depending on where you land. Philadelphia has narrow rowhomes, upper-floor walk-ups, and managed apartment buildings with strict rules. Many require a COI, an elevator reservation, and a set move-in window. Pittsburgh presents a different problem: steep streets, hillside homes, and entrances that aren’t always easy to reach with a loaded truck. In the suburbs and the Lehigh Valley, larger homes and private driveways are more common.
Philadelphia moves often come down to curb access. On a tight rowhome block, the crew may need to stage the unloading carefully rather than carry everything straight from the truck. Condos and larger complexes may limit where the truck can stop. Suburban deliveries usually offer more space, though the distances between stops can be longer.
Boston relocators commonly choose Center City, Fishtown, University City, Pittsburgh, and the Main Line suburbs. The Lehigh Valley and college towns such as State College are also regular destinations.

Lease dates don’t always cooperate. Storage can be added when you need time between pickup and delivery. We also handle moves back to Boston, employee relocation, and office transfers. Quotes and booking are available online, with no deposit required.

A studio or small one-bedroom may run between $1,600 and $2,300. The cost goes up with the amount of furniture, the crew size, and the time needed at each address. Packing, storage, difficult stairs, and limited parking can also raise the total.
Boston to Philadelphia is usually a five- to six-hour drive before loading and unloading are counted. A smaller move may still be finished in one day. Pittsburgh and other western destinations take longer, so the delivery plan will depend on the address and shipment size.
Yes. Some customers ask us to pack the entire home, while others only want help with the kitchen, artwork, mirrors, or electronics. We can bring the packing materials and prepare everything before loading. Partial packing is available when you’ve already handled most of the work yourself.
The flat-rate price covers the inventory and services listed in your estimate. Fuel, tolls, and mileage are included. If you later add twenty boxes, another sofa, a storage stop, or extra packing, we’ll update the quote before moving day rather than adding unexplained charges at delivery.
Our crews serve Philadelphia neighborhoods such as Center City, Fishtown, and University City, as well as the Main Line and surrounding suburbs. We also travel to Pittsburgh, the Lehigh Valley, State College, and other Pennsylvania cities and towns. Share the exact ZIP code when requesting your estimate.
Two to four weeks is usually enough, but summer weekends and end-of-month dates fill quickly. Philadelphia apartment moves may also take extra time because the building has to approve the COI and elevator reservation. Booking earlier gives you more room to deal with those requirements.
