Long-Haul Relocation Done the Right Way
Boston to Georgia is a true long-haul move. The truck covers more than 1,000 miles, and the trip takes several travel days once required stops are included. Furniture needs to be packed and secured for a much longer ride than a regional move. RELOQ handles the route with its own crew, a dedicated truck, flat-rate pricing, and no broker handoff.
We’re based near Boston and operate our own moving trucks. Your belongings stay with RELOQ throughout the trip instead of being transferred to an unknown carrier. Our crews serve Atlanta, its surrounding suburbs, and destinations across Georgia. If your apartment or condo requires a Certificate of Insurance, we can send the COI before the scheduled delivery.

FAST
We plan the route, travel days, and delivery schedule before leaving Massachusetts, so the trip doesn’t depend on last-minute decisions.
AFFORDABLE
Your quote includes the approved work and standard transportation expenses, without unexpected long-distance charges showing up after delivery.
CAREFUL
Furniture is wrapped and secured for a 1,000-mile trip, with extra attention given to fragile and easily damaged pieces.
RELIABLE
Your shipment travels on a dedicated truck instead of being mixed with several households or passed between different carriers.
INSURED
RELOQ is a licensed and insured interstate mover with federal authority to transport household goods between Massachusetts and Georgia.
FLEXIBLE
We handle downtown apartments, suburban homes, offices, storage stops, and moves that require different pickup and delivery dates.
Some people have every box labeled before they call us. Others need help packing the entire home. Both options work. Our full service moves can include packing, wrapping, loading, transportation, unloading, and furniture assembly. We also run the route in reverse for customers moving from Georgia to Boston.

Packing & Wrapping
You can book help for one room, a group of fragile items, or everything you own. We bring the needed supplies and prepare dishes, artwork, mirrors, televisions, books, clothing, and furniture for several days on the road.

Loading & Transport
The order in which the truck is loaded becomes more important on a long trip. Our crew secures the shipment for interstate transport, and GPS tracking is available along the way. Fuel, tolls, mileage, and standard road expenses are included in the price.

Delivery & Setup
At the new home, we place boxes and furniture in the rooms you choose. Beds, tables, and other pieces taken apart before loading can be put back together as part of the booked service.
Georgia continues to draw people relocating to the Southeast, with the Atlanta area receiving a large share of new residents. Apartment complexes and high-rises in Midtown, Buckhead, and near the Beltline often require a COI, a reserved loading dock, and an approved move-in window. Savannah can bring historic-district access limits, while suburban homes usually offer more room for the truck.
The distance isn’t the only issue to plan around. Georgia heat can be hard on furniture and packed belongings if they sit outside for too long. Protective wrapping and a sensible unloading order help keep exposure brief. We also check building rules, parking access, loading areas, and entrance restrictions before delivery day.
Popular destinations include Midtown, Buckhead, Decatur, Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, and Marietta. We also move Boston-area customers to Savannah, Augusta, and other communities across the state.

If your new place isn’t ready when you leave Boston, storage can be added to the move. We also handle moves from Georgia back to Boston, corporate relocation, and office transfers. Quotes and booking are available online, with no deposit required.

You can get all necessary information from your personal account page.
A studio or small one-bedroom move may cost between $2,400 and $3,200. Larger homes need more truck space, labor, and loading time. The price can also increase when the move includes full packing, storage, difficult access, or more than one pickup or delivery address.
The driving time is roughly 16 to 18 hours, but the truck won’t cover the full route without required breaks. Most moves take several travel days. The exact delivery schedule depends on the shipment size, destination, road conditions, and access hours at the new building.
Yes. You can leave all the packing to us or ask for help with only certain rooms and fragile belongings. We can bring boxes, tape, packing paper, and protective materials. Everything is prepared with the longer drive in mind, not packed as if it were traveling across town.
Yes. The estimate covers the inventory and services listed in your quote, along with fuel, tolls, and mileage. If you later add furniture, boxes, packing, storage, or another stop, we’ll update the price before the move rather than adding unexplained charges after delivery.
Our crews serve Atlanta neighborhoods such as Midtown and Buckhead, along with Decatur and the Beltline area. We also travel to Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Marietta, Savannah, Augusta, and other Georgia communities. Share the destination ZIP code when requesting your estimate.
Try to book four to six weeks before the move. Summer dates, weekends, and the end of the month can fill up earlier. Atlanta apartment buildings may also need time to approve the COI and reserve a loading dock or elevator before confirming your move-in window.
